Happy Thanksgiving.  A few shots of the only time #18 played on Thanksgiving. In 2004,  he left the game in the 3rd quarter and could easily have put up 8-9 or maybe 10 TD passes. He threw six, three to Marvin Harrison and three to Brandon Stokley, then celebrated with Ma Simms cobbler with his OL after the game.

Needless to say Steve Marucci wasn’t a happy camper.

On This Day:
10/31/04

It’s
really sad and embarrassing when a quarterback throws for 472 yards (team
record, and career high until 2014), and 5 touchdowns and loses.

That is exactly what happened when Manning’s team came up on the wrong end of a
45-35 loss to the Kanas City Chiefs.

Manning
finished the day 25/44 for 472 yards and throwing a pair of touchdowns to
Marvin Harrison (52,22) and Reggie Wayne (41,6), and tossing one to tight end
Marcus Pollard (5).

Redemption
was sweet.

On This Day:
10/25/01

Even
though the win pushed them even on the season at 3-3, Peyton Manning’s former
team lost a key cog as Edgerrin James went down late in the 4th
quarter running out the clock with a torn ACL.

Manning
finished the game 19/30 for 201 yards and a pair of touchdown passes that went
to Marvin Harrison(47) and Marcus Pollard (6).

On This Day:
10/24/04

A
Peyton Manning to Marvin Harrison 39 yard touchdown pass tied the game at 24-24
with under four minutes to play, but they couldn’t force overtime losing on
another Josh Scobee 53 yard field goal.

Manning
finished the day 27/40 for 368 and 3 touchdown passes. He connected again with
Harrison for 7 yards and with Dallas Clark from 17 just before halftime.
