This [Demaryius] Thomas kid might be as good a receiver as there is in the league and by the way you’ve got the best slot receiver in [Wes] Welker, [Emmanuel] Sanders is second in the league in catches. The good news is this [Julius] Thomas kid has only got 19 touchdowns since last season. Really a group that’s struggling. It’s a joke; they’re loaded offensively.
In his interview today, Peyton said it wasn’t a surprise,
I think what he meant by that is that they knew it(the suspension) was around the corner and could come at any time, that is how I took it. I didn’t take it as it wasn’t a shock that he failed a drug test. Wes had already appealed it and everything. I think he simply meant the “announcement” wasn’t a surprise.
The NFL is a copycat league and last year the Seahawks won the Super Bowl and had a number of drug/alcohol related suspensions.
Just sayin’
Sometimes you have to attempt to laugh at things.
